Co-Founder, Managing Member

As a Co-Founder & Managing Member of the Eideard Group, Ron’s financial services career spans more than 40 years. The scope and breadth of his financial acumen began in 1973 following graduate studies when he joined the Small Business Enterprise Group of Arthur Andersen, LLP in Boston. Ron’s primary focus was assisting in the development of early stage companies and participating in private and public offerings. During his tenure at Andersen he earned his CPA certification.

Following his career at Andersen, Ron established Trust Investments, a single family office of distinctive wealth in 1985; one of the first of its kind in its day. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Ron reported to the family patriarch. As the family’s personal representative, Ron’s wealth management skills were expansive and comprehensive. His responsibilities ranged from overseeing the family’s investment portfolios and supervising their numerous seed capital and private equity investments, to coordinating insurance, income tax and estate planning matters on behalf of the family.

Following a long tenure at Trust Investments, Ron left to establish Roberts Asset Management, an independent family office provider for families of distinctive wealth in 1995.

In 2006, Ron invited John Aubin to join him as a partner. Together they established R&A Capital Management, LLC where they developed a comprehensive family office service team and investment platform. Shortly thereafter, for the purpose of more accurately reflecting the company’s mission, the firm’s name was changed to the Eideard Group, LLC, “Guardians of Prosperity”.

Today, Ron’s relentless energy, personable style and singular focus is on providing the full suite of family office services to our client families. As part of his responsibilities, Ron serves on the board of three family related charitable foundations and six privately held companies.

Ron attended Babson College in Wellesley, MA where he received both his BSBA in Accounting with distinction in 1972 and his MBA in 1973. Prior to his college and graduate studies, Ron spent six years in the US Navy Submarine Service.

Ron and his wife, Linda, reside in Bedford, NH. Recreationally, Ron is an enthusiastic golfer and an even more avid fly fisherman having traveled from Labrador to Cuba in search of his next challenge.
